AT&T Beats by Dr. Dre Beatbox speaker


AT&T has now announced they intend to offer their customers Beats by Dr. Dre Beatbox this month, and it is a wireless audio system with built in dock connector for smartphones along with Bluetooth and remote control functions.
This unit will be featured by Beats by Dr Dre co-founder Jimmy Iovine uses it in his coaching sessions on American Idol on the 14th of March, so you know you’ll want one because he’s such a radical dude. This unit has portable inputs including a built-in dock connector for all smartphones and portable music players as well as Bluetooth integration for wireless connections to your Bluetooth-enabled devices too. Physical buttons include On/Off, Volume, Mute, Scan, and Skip.
The Beats by Dr. Dre Beatbox according to AT&T will be exclusive to them, and plays music how the artist intended, and offers rich full sounds with professional grade sound engineering, and distortion free sound at higher volumes along with real bass at all levels.
AT&T also reconfirmed that it will issue an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich software update for HTC Vivid customers that will enable Beats by Dre audio profile support. The audio technology will also be supported by AT&T’s HTC One X, which will launch later this year.
AT&T will be offering the Beats by Dr. Dre Beatbox to customers as of the 11th of this month both in store and online and the accessory commands a price tag starting at $399.00.
In addition to the Beats by Dr. Dre Beatbox AT&T will also offer other Beats accessories including the Monster Wireless HD Stereo Bluetooth headphones at a cost of $280, Beats Solo HD headphones for $200 and the UR Beats in-ear headphones costing $99.
In the same announcement AT&T also stated that the HTC Vivid will also be able to enjoy the optimised audio experience via an upcoming software update that will deliver Beats by Dr. Dre Audio profiles along with an updated HTC Sense and Android Ice Cream Sandwich.
