HTC One X vs Panasonic ELUGA Power

There have been new smartphones to suit every taste and we want to take a look at three of the best to see what they have to offer. Read on for the HTC One X vs. the Panasonic ELUGA Power vs. the Nokia 808 PureView. The key specs and features for each of these handsets. First off there’s the HTC One X. Now we’ve heard that it may be the HTC One XL in the U.S. or alternatively on T-Mobile US even the G4X.
The HTC One X and the Panasonic Eluga both are coming equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon S4 1.5GHz dual core processors with 1GB RAM(But the version outside of the United States will be the Tegra3 1.5GHz Quad core processor). They are coming with Ice Cream Sandwich right out of the box. *MP camera on the back, 1.3MP on the front with 1090p HD video recording. The similarities are amazing. Equal in battery too, both coming with 1800 mAh, and both smartphones coming equipped with NFC. April should open up availability to purchase either smartphone.
Moving on to the Panasonic ELUGA Power this has a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 1.5GHz dual-core processor, a 5-inch HD touchscreen, 8-megapixel rear camera will full HD video recording capability, a front-facing camera, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage expandable with microSD and NFC.
The other interesting point to note is that it is dustproof and waterproof to international standard IPS 57. Release is unconfirmed but it’s thought that it may arrive from late April. We know this is coming to the UK and Europe and it is currently being considered for the U.S.

2012 Nokia 808 PureView Review

The tech world is agog with news about the 808 PureView. Although the specs are decent they are nothing to write home about but the crucial star of the show on this handset is a 41-megapixel camera. We keep repeating ourselves here as we know how many readers will be thinking that’s a misprint but the 808 PureView really does have a 41-megapixel shooter with Carl Zeiss lens. The other specs include a 1.3GHz single-core processor, Symbian Belle OS, 4-inch LCD ClearBlack touchscreen, 512MB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, expandable with microSD card.
Since this is mainly a camera-centric handset, Nokia has put some effort into improving the camera application. Indeed, we were fascinated to find how simple to use it was. All of the options are easily accessible on the left side of the screen, without unnecessary taking too much space.
The Nokia 808 PureView's 41MP camera can actually shoot still at a maximum of 38MP resolution. The aperture is set at f/2.4, while a Xenon flash is there to assist you while shooting in low-light conditions. In addition, there's an LED light to help the handset focus better. Probably the coolest thing about this high-resolution sensor, is that when you shoot in a standard 8MP or 5MP mode, you can actually zoom in without loosing much quality. And for those worrying about the size of these giant pics- the guys from Nokia said that the 808 PureView is doing a lot to compress the pics so a giant 38MP image, for example, shouldn't take more than 12MB, which does sound like a lot of compression. Here's for hoping this won't be at the expense of the quality.
